About Brianna

Brianna Apfelbaum Kula, Esq. (“Brie”) was introduced to the prospect of a legal career at the age of 8, when she accompanied her father, Michael M. Apfelbaum, for "Take Your Daughter to Work Day." She accompanied him to the Northumberland County Courthouse, where Michael introduced her to Judge Barry F. Feudale, and Brie observed her first trial. Throughout her middle school, high school, and college years, Brie actively assisted her father with various law firm tasks.

Brie joined the law firm of Apfelbaum, Apfelbaum & Apfelbaum in 2009, where she worked closely with her father, Michael M. Apfelbaum, and her husband, Michael J. Kula ("Mike"), in representing a wide variety of clients in diverse legal matters. She co-founded Apfelbaum Kula, P.C. in 2016 with Mike. From the firm's inception, Sidney Apfelbaum was Of Counsel, and together Brie, Mike, and Sidney had the goal of continuing the Apfelbaum family tradition of practicing law in Central Pennsylvania. Sidney passed away in August 2016 and Brie and Mike strive to continue the legacy bestowed upon them.

In May 2017, Brie became an Individual Co-Trustee of The 1994 Charles B. Degenstein Foundation. Along with her Co-Trustees, she actively stewards Charlie's generous and charitable legacy to meet the local needs and help make a positive impact in the community.

Brie has also volunteered her time and talents in a wide array of community-oriented organizations and initiatives. She has enjoyed serving in various capacities to improve the lives of women and youth in the Susquehanna Valley.

In her downtime, Brie enjoys participating in bicycle rides, traveling, reading books and blogs, and most importantly, spending quality time with her husband, daughter, family, friends, and pets.
